Studies

The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God’s revelation of Himself to man.  It is a perfect treasure of divine instruction.  It has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth, without any mixture of error, for its matter.  Therefore, all scripture is totally true and trustworthy.  It reveals the principles by which God judges us, and therefore is, and will remain to the end of the world, the true center of Christian union, and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and religious opinions should be tried.  All Scripture is a testimony to Christ, who is Himself the focus of divine revelation.

Prayer Time - 9:00 a.m. Sunday

Prayer is an awesome privilege and the best way to start the week.  Believers meet in the sanctuary to praise God and ask for His blessings on our lives, our church, and our witness.

Bible Study - 9:45 a.m. Sunday

We have classes for all age groups that provide an hour to learn more of God's Word in a practical, personal way.  Each discussion-oriented class is led by a committed Christian who will share with you the unchanging truth for a changing time.

Worship - 11:00 a.m. Sunday

What an amazing honor to worship the God of all creation!  Lift your voice in praise along with the Derita Baptist Church choir as they sing contemporary praise choruses and treasured hymns.  Our Pastor delivers a relevant message from God's Word.  The goal and focus of the worship service is always to bring people "face to face" with the Living Lord Jesus Christ.

Evening Worship – 5:30 p.m. Sunday

Part of our responsibility as individuals is to grow in our understanding of God's Word.  We offer opportunities to encourage that growth through Bible studies that equip us with topical, real-life ministry tools.

Mid-Week Study – 1:00 p.m. Wednesday

We join ourselves in a time of Bible study after the congregation shares their prayer requests and notes of praise with one another.  Each message contains spiritual truth that will improve your walk and inspire your witness.
